Hi! Welcome to our site. We’re a team of technical marketers and creative thinkers helping companies attract more attention online, build more traffic to websites, improve reputations, and obtain more conversions.

Our agency was founded in 2005, and we’ve spent over a decade performing Search Engine Optimization, Online Reputation Management, Content Marketing, Website Design, and Paid Advertising services for our amazing clients. On our 10th anniversary (last year) we won our industry’s largest awards, which was exciting. We are headquartered in Washington, DC, have an office in Raleigh, NC, and work with clients across the world.

Dan Hinckley


Dan specializes in innovative digital marketing solutions, brand strategy, and technical web development and support. He works in step with clients to manage SEO, ORM, Conversion Rate Optimization, and website design and development projects, from start to finish. He is Google Analytics Certified and leads the Google AdWords programs.

Dan began his career in brand strategy management before transitioning into IT consulting for the US Government. These experiences uniquely position him to develop comprehensive strategies for SEO that span across branding and IT domains.

Ten years of SEO experience have made Dan a seasoned industry veteran in tune with the latest capabilities. Mike leads Go Fish Digital’s media relations, market strategy, and new business.  He has a passion for helping people build and improve their brands through digital marketing.

Prior to joining Go Fish Digital, Mike worked at the full service digital agency STEAK, part of Dentsu Aegis in Covent Garden, London.  He began his career in digital marketing ten years ago working on the forefront of combining traditional public relations with digital marketing at PRWeb/Vocus (acquired by Cision).  He is a Washington, DC area native (Gonzaga High School graduate) and lives in Falls Church, VA.

With more than 20 years of SEO experience and a Juris Doctor Degree, Bill is the foremost expert on Google’s patents as related to SEO. Bill is the Editor of SEO by the Sea, a prominent search engine optimization blog, where he is the author of over 1,000 posts. Bill’s experience includes Fortune 500 brands and some of the largest websites in the world. Bill is a contributing author for Moz and Search Engine Land.  In 2014, he spoke at industry leading conferences  about topics including search engine algorithms, universal and blended search, personalization in search, search and social, and duplicate content problems.

He has also covered innovative marketing and growth techniques as a featured speaker at Google I/O DC, Search Insider Summit, DMAW Digital Day, MASB Summit, and NetSquared.

Daniel graduated from Brigham Young University with a degree in Economics and History and received his J.D. from George Mason School of Law. He is also a licensed attorney.
