Brian Patterson


Brian earned a bachelor’s degree in Information Technology from George Mason University. His client work ranges from small businesses to larger organizations, including the US Department of Homeland Security among many others. Brian has extensive experience in the field of online reputation management (ORM) and search marketing, and has been called on by both small and large organizations for his ORM expertise to help resolve complex issues.

Brian is widely noted for his experience in the ORM field, often consulting to other experts on best practices. Brian authored the seminal “Online Reputation Management Playbook” published on SEOmoz and is often sought out to develop solutions for difficult issues.

Brian lives with his wife and two daughters in Ashburn, Virginia.

Dan Hinckley


Dan has a bachelor’s degree in Political Science from Brigham Young University.  With over eight years of SEO experience, Dan specializes in innovative digital marketing solutions, brand strategy,  technical web development and support.

He began his career in brand strategy management before transitioning into IT consulting for the US government.  The combination of these skill sets uniquely position him to develop comprehensive strategies for SEO that span across branding and IT domains.

His past and current clients include Marriott, Sentara Health, American Petroleum Institute, US Department of Defense, and US Department of State, among others.  Dan is also an editor for several blogs that receive over two million yearly visitors with 80 percent of traffic coming from search engines (see Maciverse.com and MyFiveFingers.com).  Dan and his wife enjoy many adventures with their three children.

Bill Slawski

Director of Search Marketing

With over 15 years of SEO experience and Juris Doctor Degree from Widener University School of Law, Bill is the leading expert on Google’s patents as related to SEO. Bill is the Editor of SEO by the Sea, a leading publication for information regarding search engine optimization. Bill’s experience includes Harvard Business School, Johns Hopkins University, The American Psychological Association, Baltimore.org, and Zurich NA among many others.  Bill is a contributing author for a couple of the most well known sites online about search engine marketing, Search Engine Watch and Search Engine Land.  He has also written articles for the print publications Website Magazine, Search Marketing Standard, and Target Marketing.

Bill has spoken at industry leading conferences such as Search Engine Strategies, Webmaster World’s Pubcon, and the Internet Summit.

Mike Moriarty

Partner, Director of Sales and Marketing

Mike leads Go Fish Digital’s new business and marketing.  Previously, Mike was the new business manager at STEAK, a full service digital agency in London.  He began his career at Vocus, assisting businesses and agencies with SEO, social media marketing, news monitoring, media relations, and reputation management.

Mike holds a bachelor’s degree from Brigham Young University.  He lives with his wife in Arlington, Virginia.  He is fluent in Spanish.

Kat Haselkorn

New Media Manager

Kat is a featured editor to The Huffington Post, The Examiner, Buzzfeed, Yahoo!, Jezebel, and was a featured blogger at Social Media Week and in The Washington Post.

As a digital marketing and social media expert, Kat has significantly increased the online presence of brands through customized social media campaigns and innovative SEO marketing techniques. Kat holds a B.A. in Psychology with Honors from The University of Chicago.

Devin Holmes

Design Associate

Devin Holmes is an award winning graphic designer with over six years of experience.  He’s worked for major brands, institutions and organizations designing websites, mobile sites and creative digital marketing campaigns. This year his work won the CSS Reel Award for design. Devin graduated with a Business Degree in Graphic Design from Cuyahoga Community College.
